A traditional Ukrainian ribbon gerdan handmade locally to order for Legacy UA, based on a historical beadwork design from Velykyi Kliuchiv village, Kolomyia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The original pattern comes from a historical Ukrainian beadwork piece preserved in the book Patsiorky, tsiatky, koralyky: Seed Bead Jewelry from the Volodymyr Shchybria Collection.
The gerdan features a floral pattern with bird motifs. It is loom-woven on 24 threads using beads and cotton thread, with traditional white tassels at both ends.
The beaded part measures 32 cm. The length can be adjusted to fit your measurements.
