A traditional Ukrainian ribbon gerdan handmade locally to order for Legacy UA, based on a historical beadwork design from the Rakhiv district of Transcarpathia.
The original pattern comes from a century-old Ukrainian beadwork piece preserved in the book Patsiorky, tsiatky, koralyky: Seed Bead Jewelry from the Volodymyr Shchybria Collection.
The gerdan’s intricate pattern features deer motifs in vivid red, blue, yellow, green, black and white.
Finished with traditional white tassels, the ribbon can be adjusted in length to fit your measurements.
